The British Veterans Fencing Championships took place earlier this month at the Manchester Fencing Centre. Bath Sword Club Veterans braved the M5/M6 journey turning out in force and achieved some excellent results.
The format of the Championships was new this year, with medals in each age group. Gold and silver medallists in categories 2 and above have qualified to fence for Great Britain at the Veterans World Championships which are being held in Maribor, Slovenia in October.
