The 2nd Bruniges Team Challenge (2024)
Following the success of the event last year, Bath Sword Club invite our members, neighbouring clubs and fencing friends to a unique and fun fencing team competition.
This is being held at King Edwards School, Bath, BA2 6HU on Saturday 13th April 2024 Check in closes 9.30am.
This is a 3 weapon mixed team relay competition open fencers over 14 years old within the club, region, neighbouring clubs and wider fencing community.
Competition details
Teams of three, one foilist, one sabreur and one epeeist. Each team must have at least one male and female team member.
Three five point fights in relay format to 15 points. Weapon order is drawn randomly. In the event of a draw, 1 minute sudden death of the final weapon with priority. Team members cannot switch weapons.
Depending on numbers the format to be one round of poules and then direct elimination for L16.
Teams knocked out in the first round will go into a plate competition.
Entry Fee: £54 (£18 per fencer!!) per team
