March 2016: Ben Bates becomes new British Champion

Ben Bates today won the British U23 foil championships. This automatically qualifies him for the European U23 foil championships later in the year.

Bath fencer Isaac Mulcahy also took the bronze medal and Rob Williams and Ben Priestly made the L16.

This one of the best results for the club for a very long time.

Rhiannon Granville made the L16 in the ladies event yesterday.
